1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My real name is Zachary MacPherson but I go by Mac Rose 🥀
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
I was born in England to an Irish mother and English father and moved to Ireland when I was 9 and still live here!
3.At What age did you start making music?
When I was 16 I started playing guitar and piano and pretty much anything I could get my hands on. I mostly listened to rock and anything old. I started writing then but my songs were very different. It wasn’t until I was 22 that I started producing and writing music similar to what I make today. My music taste also drastically changed from rock to exclusively trap.
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
Trap Pop.
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My last track “I Need This” was written at the beginning of this year. I was scrolling through IG looking for some nice beats and stumbled across this guy HillKidd. The beat i think was originally called “sad bois” or something similar and I remember commenting “I NEED THIS”. So I hit him up we chatted and I got the stems and started writing and arranging. The song is about being vulnerable with someone and feeling like they are everything you need!
