FOCUS OF THE DAY: LA OUTSTANDING ARTIST BESTÒR

Our redaction loves creative artists like BESTÒR. Today we invite you to meet the most beautiful musical moment of the week, and probably at the end of the year.

He has a pretty decent following already. Some of his releases have over 4,50,000 plays on his recently released song “Quarantine” on Spotify. His jams often feature exquisite and ambient beats, fronted by passionate and expressive vocals. The sound is ethereal and the vibe is inspirational. You can tell he really puts his heart into creating and performing these jams

A bit of pop, some touches of soul, we don’t even dare to name the track’s genre, we’d rather let you have your own perception, all we can say is that you will get addicted:

Filled with melancholic vibes, a unique voice, and blending strong lyrics, the mysterious artist hits the right notes on a song that touches on a very sensitive subject.

There’s a lot of artistic versatility here, and plenty of creative variety in his catalog, as BESTÒR is something of a jack of all trades. “Hypebeast” his upcoming song will be one to watch for.

We invite you to discover his music right now and to discover our conversation with him below:

1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

My real name is Brandon Bester and my stage name is BESTÒR!
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
I was born in Oceanside, California and my heart will always be in California. I moved around a lot growing up, but I spent the majority of my youth in Pittsburgh, PA & Ashburn, VA. I’m currently based out of Virginia for the time being due to Covid. I recently moved back with my mom and wife’s family during the pandemic. Prior to that, I bounced in between Los Angeles & New York City.
3.At What age did you start making music?
I have been infatuated with making music my entire life. I’ve always played instruments growing up like piano, drums, and guitar-all self-taught or playing by ear. I was probably around 7 when I played my first real instrument (which was the piano). I fell in love with the drums around age 9 or 10 and wrote and recorded my first song when I was like 11with a childhood friend named Shane Healey haha! It was called PH U KNO Shout out to Penn Hills, PA (PH comes from Penn Hills)
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
I am constantly trying to find my sound, new ways to manipulate ideas or melodies, and re-create different sounds, and kind of put my own twist on it, but I would probably say for the most part my music reflects Alternative Pop/hip-hop
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My next song comes out on December 17th and it’s called Hypebeast!
Hypebeast is ENERGY. It’s the most fun I had writing a song. I have been listening to a lot of NAV and Travis Scott more than usual recently, and honestly thought I need to make something and see if they will hop on it. So hopefully they do! It’s an absolute banger. I think everyone is a hypebeast. I enjoy the finer things and I want to take care of any and everyone from all walks of life. I am a dreamer. I love to listen to songs and feel the sound. Hypebeast makes me feel like I have everything together and I can do anything I put my mind to. I talk about some of my favorite brands like Supreme & Louis Vuitton and putting all my friends in a Bentley. I’m speaking that into existence!
I feel like it’s okay to be infatuated with the finer things in life and want that for all of your loved ones. Hypebeast is basically like you have everything you could possibly want materialistic wise and nothing else matters . I think it’s just funny because anyone can listen to hypebeast and not have any materialistic things that I am talking about in the song but still feel good and feel on top of the world no matter what you have. When Future dropped F Up Some Commas, I vividly remember me and all of my homies listening to it…we could barely afford the 4 for $4 combo at Wendy’s haha but when that song came on we felt like millionaires. That was my goal for hypebeast. I want people to hear it and not be consumed by materialistic things..like it doesn’t matter what you have..you can have all the materialistic things in the world or you can have none of them, you can still be a Hypebeast!
I am super stoked on the release!
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
If i were given the chance, I would love to perform with Lil Uzi. He brings an insane amount of energy through his performances and his fans are crazy. honestly you don’t even need to be an Uzi fan…just go to one concert and you’ll see the unexplainable energy that’s in the crowd and on the stage. Some runners up would be Travis Scott, Beach House, and Tame Impala.
