LISTEN TO 2020, THE OUTSTANDING NEW EP FROM THE DOG MAN

Our favorite of the day is pretty unique. Be ready to jump into an outstanding with 2020, the new EP by The Dog Man.

The 3-track EP is one of the best Hip-Hop projects that we have heard for a long time. From the first song “Chirp” to the last entitled “Late Nights” the artist delivers a perfect opus, flawlessly produced, and with rare wordplay. It is a refreshing change in an area where artists follow trends and have a limited vocabulary.

The man has good taste, and you can tell he really does put his heart into his music. This EP has a jovial and innocent quality, inspiring people to push forward with a positive attitude. It makes for a very pleasant afternoon listen. The backing beats are colorful and pretty, really setting the mood.

The track stands out from the crowd thanks to a memorable energy and a flow between R&B, Hip-Hop, and unique creativity. Our redaction craves for artists like The Dog Man, who brings new vibes to the table.

“2020” is a highly recommended project that you need to listen to right now!

We invite you to discover his music right now and to discover our conversation with him below:
1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

Real name: Nicholas Agosti
Stage name: The Dog Man, really just fit my personality well believe it or not.
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
Originally, I’m from the Bay Area, real busy place so we moved to Auburn when I was too young to remember, a small town an hour away from Sacramento. I was there up until like, three months ago, now I live in Reno, not been doing a whole lot believe it or not, it’s nice though because I’m in a desolate area, but 10 minutes of driving and I see the tweakers and casino dudes screaming and stuff, good times.
3.At What age did you start making music?
Man, I started making music probably around freshmen-ish year of highschool. My friend Dillon Fleming, stage name Infinite Kamikaze introduced me to FL Studio and I never stopped since. It took me a LONG while to actually make somewhat coherent sounds and songs, I was too young to think of looking up tutorials so I taught myself, way longer of a process then needed haha.
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
Definitely hip-hop, there’s some pop aspects in there sometimes, and sometimes rap as well. But it’s different and hard to pin down what genre I make, I’ll usually sing-rap over some dystopian-esk sounding synths and beautiful keys, but in some instances I’ll *try* to sing like Bruno Mars over some elegant guitar or piano. If you boiled it down though, hip-hop, long answer short.
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
Just released a new EP: 2020, yeah pretty basic title but it’s definitely a year to remember; and a year I became who I am musically because this year taught me I gotta reach for my ambitions because sometimes the world is trash. First track on there out of the three is called “Chirp,” probably my favorite song I’ve ever made. What’s it about? I don’t know, lol; boiled down, just how I’ve been strolling through 2020. I was inspired by one of my favorite artists, JPEGMAFIA to sample a bird chirping like at the end of his song Rock N Roll Is Dead. Then I added a simple yet elegant harp and it came to be beautiful. I connected the chirping with fake birds in trees looking at me, like government drones, obviously this doesn’t happen to me, but I was just trying to portray my anxiety I have towards the government, corona, and just the world in general, (but who knows, maybe some birds are fake? Lol).
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
Wow, the hardest question of them all, if I had the chance who would I perform with? If I was hyped up on 4 redbulls and wanted to scream my lungs out, Death Grips. If I wanted to have a spiritual experience and rap over some beautiful samples, Kanye. But, all in all, I’d have to go with Anderson .Paak, one of my main influences. He’s such a fun loving guy and knows how to have a good time. There would be songs we’d sing, and songs we’d rap screaming, it’s a perfect mix. I actually performed one of his songs once at my high school, so I’d definitely take up the offer if I could.
7.Where can fans find you? List all your social media links?
My fans can find me on all streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, Deezer, and more under the name The Dog Man.
