OUR EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE UPCOMING YOUTUBER DIZZY DYL

1.Starting Up, How did this journey begin, what was your inspiration?

Dizzy- My YouTube journey began when I was 10 years old. I started filming all the ways me and my cousin had fun. We were always the kids that were doing something, and just like nowadays, we could make fun out of anything. My family would always turn my videos on whenever we had our get-togethers. I loved seeing how happy my videos made everyone. That’s definitely where my inspiration came from. I have always just wanted to make people smile, and seeing that I could do that through YouTube videos made me fall in love with it. I never really understood that you can make money off of videos though, so the whole time I was doing YouTube, it was just because I loved making videos, and I knew it was a way to bring people happiness. It wasn’t until sophomore year of high school when it really hit me that I could make i living off of my videos. I started the YouTube channel “Dizzy Dyl” in the beginning of 2019. For the whole first year of my channel, I couldn’t afford any equipment, so I got a landscaping job, and made all of the videos on my phone while I saved up for a camera and mic. I ended up getting a real camera in January of 2020. I had 2,000 subscribers at that time, and that was when I finally had everything I needed to do all the prank videos and vlogs I do nowadays.

2.Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

Dizzy- Sometime in the next five years, I see myself buying my parents a huge house. That’s one of my biggest goals. In the next five years, I also see myself reaching over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and still making videos just like I do today. I may branch out into other things such as acting or even music maybe…

One thing I’d love to do is make my own pair of crocs, I have been a huge croc fan my whole life and it would be awesome to make a custom dizzy dyl croc. Sometime in the next five years, I’d also love to participate in a celebrity basketball game, that would be awesome.

3.Coming back to your videos what is the process behind creating them?

Dizzy- I love the way my videos are. It’s super fun to film and super fun to edit, because it’s really just me living my normal life, I just have a camera following me the whole time… I’ll bring the camera with me anywhere I go, and whatever I find myself doing that day I’ll film it. Then I’ll go home and edit the footage! I never really plan what I’m going to do for a video though, I usually just pick up the camera and start filming!

4.Who do we see you working with in the future?

Dizzy- In the future, I’d really like to just continue doing stuff with my friends. It’s super fun filming with them every day because everyone is so happy and positive, so for my videos, I’ll probably just stick to filming with them for a while.

5.When was your first fan encounter, where someone recognized you for the first time?

Dizzy- My first fan encounter was at a football game. I was watching my cousin play with my mom and my grandma, and a group of kids saw me and starting yelling my name. We took pictures and I talked with them a little. It was super cool to have my family witness that!

6.Lastly a message for all your fans and viewers of Youtube?

Dizzy- For my fans and supporters, please chase your dream! I promise no matter what you’re going through anything’s possible. Believe in yourself and don’t listen to what anyone else says. There will always be someone who doubts you and wants to try to stop you, but just keep working and prove them wrong.
