1. Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My real name is Kaiser York I decided to use it as my stage name bc it just had a ring to it and growing up people always told me how much it stood out so instead of spending a lot of time deciding what name to make my second identity I decided what better way to express me then be me
2. Where are you from and Where are you based?
I live in Eagle Mountain Utah I’ve lived in Utah my whole life
3.At What age did you start making music?
I started making music and messing around writing with friends in a closet recording in 2016 I made my first song and to be honest it was not good at all so I just thought it wasn’t for me but the beginning of this year was when I decided to give it another try and I realized this is something I could persue after seeing all the support and love I was given
4. What genre would you consider yourself?
I consider myself a rap/pop artist I can make about any genre people want me to make lately I just decided to go my own route making some emo rap and alternative rock pop music and I’ve loved it so far I came from a family who has a lot of musical talents and my dad was a drummer growing up so hearing the drums and beats just hits different that’s why I decided to try it and I’ve loved all the music I’ve made and can’t wait to share it! I haven’t told anyone this yet but Aug 28th I’m releasing my new single “ Things Changed “ I cant wait for everyone to hear my new sound!
5. Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My latest single “Pretty Face” is about a girl that I had trouble with earlier this year it took me realizing she was playing games and messing with my head that all she was is a pretty face bc she is good to look at from a distance but you get to know her and you just want her out of your life. The purpose of the song is to have the people listening understand that someone’s been thru it too. People go thru the games and get in there head and get down on themselves for something that isn’t there doing and sometimes all you gotta do is open your eyes and realize not everyone is who they say they are and that sometimes they are just a pretty face that’s it.
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
I was given a chance to perform with one artist I’d choose Iann dior. He’s my biggest inspiration and is what has given me a new creative mind to keep on going and has opened a new vision for me I met him and he was the most genuine person I’ve ever met and he told me to keep on going that alone gave me more motivation then anything
