1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My real name is Zain, and my stage name is Zylvain.
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
Born and raised in UK, based in Essex. Back home, I am a mixture of Indian and Pakistani.
3.At What age did you start making music?
I started to make music at 12 when I bought my first guitar. At age 15 is when I took it seriously
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
I am confident that I do not have a genre, I don’t believe in it. I can make anything from an acoustic song to a trap song to even soft-spoken and even punk rock, indie and more. Having a fixed genre would limit my skill and ability to project my feelings. The music I make is the therapist I talk to when I have something on my mind.
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My debut single is about the toxic relationship I was in, even though every relationship is different, the attributes of a toxic one is the same for everyone. In my song I speak to the instrumental about how it tormented my brain and how I want to move on with my life. I also describe the toxic relationship as an intoxicant as you can become very addicted and lost in it. This song is the deep true feelings of wanting to leave the relationship and be free. I also had a visualizer that depicts me having fun while crying blood which is how I acted when out with family or friends, I had to hide my inner feelings. I also rhetorically ask questions such as “what did I do?” I know I did not do anything, but the relationship made me feel as if I did. Every time I see her I get deja vu to all the good times we had which is a bad habit of mine. Since I released that song, the deja vu seemed to have stopped. This song is a blessing as it has truly helped me move on and I want to help others move on rather than hurt about their past relationships.
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
I have a lot of Artists I would love to perform with, but if I have to choose one it would be Guapdad4000. Hope to make a song with him soon.
