Tell us about your Song? And whats the story behind it?
My new song (which isn’t released yet) is called “The Invocation of Cxxlion: The 73rd Demon”. The lyrics of the song are about invoking the demon that doesn’t exist, therefore the 73rd demon. It’s has a dark vibe, and the motive behind the song is Aleister Crowley’s interpretation of how magic is done and how demons can help you with it.
What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
My music is unique for multiple reasons I would say. I put my thoughts, knowledge, feelings, and beliefs into my texts. (Which only I can do since I’m the only one to experience my life). Secondly, my music is apart of the underground scene’s sound and genre called “phonk”, which isn’t well-known. Last but not least, my mixing is with plugins that many lo-fi artists don’t know about and that makes my mixes very unique.
Which is the best moment in your musical career that your most proud of?
I’m proud of hitting 1 million streams. I recently hit 2 million, but that doesn’t have the same feeling as your first mill.
How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends, or work?
I balance, friendship, school, work, music, and family pretty bad to be honest. I am always stressed, but it’s at a manageable level as of now. I am always trying my best to balance it out as well as I can, but sometimes I have a tendency to forget my family and friends.
What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
My best advice is; Find the source for your creativity before you start. As an artist, you need inspiration to keep you going. Advice number two is to not start off by doing it for money. If you do, then you’ll get sad about how hard it is. You have to like what you do to bring in the money!
If you had one message to give your fans, what would it be?
I appreciate and love you all. Without all the support of my music, I wouldn’t evolve my sound to where it is today. Thank you so much!
Whats next for you? Any upcoming projects?
I am currently working on an album called “Cxxlion’s Inferno” and I’m also working on a collective album with my group “6FEETDEEP Records”. More info on that will come on all my social media! @ce3lion on Instagram.
