A.K.A.The Truth is a Buffalo, NY raised artist with styles that range from hip-hop to rnb to even sounds new to ear. He’s full of surprises with his hooks to his verses.
The Truth has worked with Zac Barber of ParadoxStudios who worked with John Scott of PhoenixDown Studio and John has worked with Joyner Lucas, Lil Baby, Trey Songz, Snoop Dogg, and Bia to name a few. From John Scott’s tutelage Zac Barber has been able to combine with A.K.A. The Truth’s creativity to create the sounds you hear today. Sound, rhythm and flows is what he provides to compliment the vibe.
He has raised the limits and made the stakes higher in his latest song “Not Empty”
“Not Empty” is a song that touches people who have been through the hardest time in their lives yet have learned to accept their failures, learn from those toughest times and allow others to help them through your troubles because they will hear you if you reach out

Vizdumb Music got a chance to ask A.K.A. The Truth a few questions and here is what he had to say.
1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My real name is David Anayo Akanonu but my stage name is A.K.A. The Truth
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
I am from Buffalo, NY and currently based in Buffalo, NY but I move around
3.At What age did you start making music?
I started writing music at age 16 but I started recording music at age 21… I’m currently 21
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
I would consider myself hip-hop/rap/rnb/soul/pop my sound is definitely unique I would say because I can’t always pinpoint a genre to it
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My latest track is named “Not Empty” it’s made keeping in mind all the people that go through the toughest of times and resort to self-harming their bodies to make them forget what made them feel anxious or make them feel good in order to avoid thinking about what made them feel bad. It’s a message to accept your failures, learn from them and allow others to help you through your troubles because they will hear you if you reach out. There are artists who’ve resorted to unhealthy coping mechanisms and it resulted in their passing to the public eye but this also happens to everyday average people
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
If I was given a chance I would love to perform with J. Cole or YBN Cordae those two artists are dynamic and really know how to capture a crowd with their genius creativity and lyricism
