This year is quickly becoming one of my favorites for music discovery. Particularly in the rap space, the genre has seen so many unique forms and changes that artists continue to shine on. One of those artists, Easy Grimm, is a perfect example of this.
His recent releases, “Boba Fett,” perfectly exhibited that ability as he seamlessly flowed throughout the catchy loops and laid down memorable lyrics.
For the past couple of years, Grimm has been dropping consistent jams while continuing to develop his sound. With such versatility in this space, he’s able to create different types of flows and hooks on a variety of instrumentals.
Grimm got an early start in music production, initially creating dubstep and electronic beats on FL Studio. There’s an organic exploration to his work, the experience of an artist discovering his invincibility in live time. Easy Grimm raps and sings with one goal: to be as strong of a songwriter as possible. He wants to relate to his audience on a personal level.
