1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?

My full name is Teegan Brouillard, but a lot of my friends and fans call me Zeegs.
2. Where are you from and Where are you based?

I was born in Barrie, Ontario, but I’ve lived in 5 different areas. I currently live and make my music from a small town in Northern Ontario called Timmins.
3.At What age did you start making music?

From a young age, I’ve always had a big interest in music, ever since I was a kid. I started writing my own songs when I was in grade 6 and would perform them for my family around the house. In high-school, I discovered FL Studio, and everything took off from there.
4. What genre would you consider yourself?

It’s for me to relate to one genre, as I’m always experimenting with new sounds and styles. Although, if I was to categorize myself, I’d say my music is a mix between bedroom pop and experimental. I would describe my music as melodically oriented, accompanied by calm and mellow vibes.
5. Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.

The ideas came flooding in when my best friend, Matt, and I started discussing the possibilities of creating a second part of our original song “Thoughts Control Me”. We wanted to make an emotional song that expressed the difficulties of somebody walking out of your life. Therefore we wanted to stay true to the original song and speak about how it’s always better to follow your head than your heart.
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?

My favorite artist of all time is Jeremy Zucker. I’ve listened to his music since the beginning of high-school. His sound has had a great influence on not only me but my music. One of my biggest goals is to make a song with him someday.
