ALBUM OF THE MONTH: “BETTER DAY” BY DOWNTOWN MYSTIC

DownTown Mystic has just unveiled their album “Better Day”.

Crashing into the 10 tracks project with raucous guitar lines, heavy drum beats, and industrial sounds, the album is an ode to real Rock’n’Roll music, which brings us right back to the 80s

Battering your eardrums with foot-stomping rhythms, “The Wish”, one of the strongest songs, reveals truly enthralling sequences and is insanely addictive.

Musically, I think it might be the most impressive on the album. It’s tough to say though because from a technical perspective DownTown Mystic is clearly pros. I admit I’ve never heard of DownTown Mystic, but this is a major label quality album release (which may not mean as much anymore given the state of pop music.)

Normally I don’t like to give someone “too good” of a music review because it comes off kind of phony. However, this recording is pretty much flawless and doesn’t leave any room for nitpicking. It succeeds at what it’s trying to be and even surpasses it.

DownTown Mystic’s album is a success and you should live the experience right now.

This album is genius and demonstrates that artists are far more imaginative than many people give them credit for:

We invite you to discover his music right now and to discover our conversation with him below:

5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.

In January I released an album called Better Day, which was all about putting out positive vibes. A couple of weeks ago I released a track called 3-Way Heartbreak, which is the single for an upcoming November release of my early pre-DownTown Mystic material called DownTown Mystic: Used Records History 1979-1985. The single 3-Way Heartbreak was actually recorded in 1985 and is currently on 30+ stations in 13 countries. It’s a song dealing with a relationship between 3 people. Actually, it’s more about a guy telling his girl to decide between him and the “special friend” she has a relationship with. The video shows  a story that conveys the message: https://youtu.be/1fDDUMyf4CE

6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?

I’m releasing a Deluxe Edition of On E Street featuring Max Weinberg & Garry Tallent of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, so I would like to perform with Bruce Springsteen. He’s probably the best live performer I’ve ever seen.
