1.Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My name is Braden Ross (that’s my real name as well as my stage name)
2.Where are you from and Where are you based?
I am from Seattle, Washington, and I have lived here for my entire life
3.At What age did you start making music?
I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, but I really started to get into making music when I was 15. That’s the year that I got FL Studio, (which is a music-making software) and I was immediately obsessed with it. I would spend hours just messing around in it. None of it was very good in those early days, but I realized very quickly that music production was something that I loved learning about, and the idea of pursuing a career in music became really important to me.
4.What genre would you consider yourself?
Currently, I’ve been putting out songs that might fall into the alt/anti-pop genre. But I definitely don’t want to stick to the same sound for my entire career. My goal is to evolve musically with every single release, so I have no idea what my music will sound like in the future. I just know that I’m going to keep being myself, and I’ll keep putting out music that I enjoy making.
5.Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
My latest song, “Without You” from Bangers Only Vol. 1, is basically a commentary on my anxiety, as well as my initial refusal to reach out for help. It details the strain that these decisions ended up putting on my relationships, and what was going on in my head during this time of my life. It’s a song about realizing that you need help, and that you can’t always fix everything on your own.
6.If you were given a chance, which Artist would you love to perform with?
There are so many artists that I would love to perform/collaborate with. When I first started getting into music as a kid, I was inspired by bands like “Linkin Park”, “My Chemical Romance”, and “Green Day”. But lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of artists like“brakence”, “nothing, nowhere.”, and “Days to Waste”. Any of these artists would be an absolute dream to perform/collaborate with.
