When she is asked about her new song, she says: “My new single “I don’t love you anymore, the song was quite a personal track reflecting someone who was trapped in an unhealthy/ toxic relationship. The narrative is singing to their partner begging them to say the words they need to hear to be move on but the partner never gives them this closure through never saying it’s time to let go”

1. Can you please tell our readers your real name as well as your stage name?
My name is Laura Davis – I’m known by my friends and audience as Law.
2. Where are you from and Where are you based?
I’m from Kent (south of London) but am currently based in Hatfield studying songwriting and music production full time
3.At What age did you start making music?
I’ve written songs since I can remember. I used to sing random tunes and songs in my primary school playground and I still remember them all to this day! I’d say I properly started writing at the age of 13, and I began my music “brand” from 2017
4. What genre would you consider yourself?
I consider myself to be an alternative pop. My music can be quite indie. I am most inspired by artists such as Sody, Billie Eilish, Brakence, Ed Sheeran, and Aries.
5. Tell us about your latest track or Video ( what is it all about)–Please explain the concept or message.
I wrote my latest track in late April of 2020. The song was quite a personal track reflecting someone who was trapped in an unhealthy/ toxic relationship. The narrative is singing to their partner begging them to say the words they need to hear to be move on but the partner never gives them this closure through never saying “it’s time to let go, I don’t love you anymore”.
