OUT NOW: “SICK TO MY STOMACH” BY BRXKENBXY

When we say real rappers, I am sure you understand, we mean by that: rappers who have technique, flow, interesting writings, and a sense of musicality. BrxkenBxy is one of these rare rappers who have all of that.

Our redaction loves creative artists like BrxkenBxy and his latest offering entitled “Sick to my stomach”, the alternative artist proves that originality in music is still existing. Honestly, in an area where so many tracks sound similar, “Sick to My Stomach” is a gift.

A bit of pop, some touches of soul, we don’t even dare to name the track’s genre, we’d rather let you have your own perception, all we can say is that you will get addicted:

Listening to “Sick to My Stomach” was simply a reassuring and pleasant hip-hop moment.

We invite you to discover his music right now and to discover our conversation with his below:
1.Tell us about New Song? And what’s the story behind it?
My new song is based around my anxiety issues and substance issues I’ve had. The name “Sick to my stomach” is actually ironic honestly because my main symptom of my panic attacks is nausea. It’s crippling to the point I stay inside and don’t talk to my friends, it’s hard to deal with. I chose to drop it on Halloween (October 31st) because my friends passed away last year from suicide. It was always my favorite holiday and I’m kind of leaving this song as a tribute to him, I always wished I could’ve done more.
2.What makes your music unique? And how would you describe it?
What Makes my music unique to me is honestly my versatility. I started out in metal and punk bands so I can genre bend pretty easily, it was a skill that always just kind of came to me luckily. I always say I’m not the best at anything but I can do anything.
3.Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of?
Honestly, I can’t really say. If i had to pinpoint one thing it would probably be getting 10k monthly listeners on spotify. I never even thought I’d see past 1000, so when I saw that I was just like woah that’s real?
4.How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
I don’t do it very well but I try to. It’s definitely a very hard task to balance so much when so much needs to be done constantly. Once a week i try to just have a day where I can play video games or watch a movie and hang out doing my own thing. I realized constantly stressing about what’s going on was making me sick mentally and physically.
5.What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
The best advice I can give you is don’t mix friendships with business. It will always cut you in the end and I’m still hurting because of it but at the same time I’m trying to be better for myself, so maybe it was necessary. Still miss you brother. Haha.
6.If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I appreciate the love you all give me. It has been saving me in so many ways I can’t express. From the bottom of my heart I wish I could do more to give back but I hope my art is doing you all justice.
7.What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
After “Sick to my stomach” drops I have another song called Benzo dropping on November 10th. Benzo is more of an upbeat song the likes of which most people know me for at this point but I predict and hope it’s as well-received as Know the Name was seeing as it’s kind of the same style.
